Jim & Heidi Agner

We are JIm &  Heidi Agner.  We have been  working as a team since  we said our marriage vows up Patte Canyon outside of Missoula Montana in 1976.

Jim has been involved with engraving for 17 years. His specialty is handgun engraving, but he enjoys creating designs for a variety of items.  He is member of and serves on the Board of Directors for the Firearms Engravers Guild of America.

Heidi  has been working with various leather media for  33 years.  She has focused on holsters for the last 18 years. Heidi, like Jim, loves to create specialty items.

Jim and Heidi met at Jacksonville Illinois High School many, many years ago. Three weeks after graduation we headed for Montana. After bringing two boys into the world, we all moved to Alaska where we lived for 25 years. We were  police officers in a small rural community. In 2013 we moved back to Montana and opened Lincoln Gulch Engraving and Leather Works near the original site of the gold rush mining town of  Old Lincoln.   This area is known as the upper Blackfoot Valley which is rich in history.  This includes the trail followed by the Lewis and Clark Expedition.

Give us a call or send an email about your engraving and leather project ideas.
